Isa, a wandering medicine seller. Once a rising scholar in the imperial court, political machinations saw the man now known as Isa exiled to Nakamiyo. There, he promptly adopted the simple life of a wandering philosopher-poet, eschewing his old name, family, and life forever. Though strange and distant in his personality, the man now known as Isa lives a life of peace and contemplation, eking out a living as a medicine seller. He has a terrifying knowledge of herbal cures for any ailment you care to name, and some you probably don't have names for, but despite this potentially lucrative knowledge, Isa much prefers to compose poetry and contemplate the passing nature of all things, letting worldly concerns fall by the wayside.
